Senior Full-Stack Engineer Javascript
Sombra is looking for a Senior/Lead Full Stack Developer to join our team and work on a project for one of our esteemed clients, a leading company that provides small and medium-sized businesses with access to affordable, high-quality services. The project focuses on building scalable and efficient web applications that support the client’s mission to improve business operations.
As a developer on this team, you will primarily focus on frontend development (80%) using React and TypeScript, while also contributing to backend development (20%) with Node.js. This role provides the opportunity to lead the technical direction of the project, mentor junior developers, and deliver high-quality solutions that have a significant impact on the business.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial experience in software development.
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead developer.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Some experience with Node.js and backend development.
- Expertise in integrating with REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and lead a development team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the development of web applications using React and TypeScript (majority of the job).
- Design and implement backend services with Node.js (minor part of the job).
- Integrate with REST APIs and GraphQL to build scalable and efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices are followed.
