Front End Lead

This is a totally new role in our company. Our Front End Lead will be involved in various projects for kickoff/development/consulting and will help to develop Front End Stream in the company. 

For now, we have near 20 projects with JS tech stack. There are 40 Engineers who work with React/Angular/Vue and 10 with NodeJS.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of proven experience in development.
  • 1+ years of leading experience.
  • Advanced experience with JavaScript / ES7+ / TypeScript.
  • Experience with Node.js.
  • Experience with React/Angular.
  • Experience with Databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Understanding architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (any of AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with testing.
  • Extensive experience in setting up engineering practices and processes on different projects.
  • Experience in designing and supporting architecture of web applications.
  • Upper-Intermediate spoken and written English.

Personal skills:

  • Strong communication skills;
  • Organizational and time-management skills;
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills with ability to work and lead group of developers.
Responsibilities:
  • Be involved in various projects with different complexity for kickoff, consulting, and delivering solutions for technical issues. For now, we have near 20 projects with JS tech stack.
  • Lead the Front End Direction in the company (40 Engineers – React/Angular/Vue):
    -development of the matrix of competencies in the Front End stream;
    -technical development of engineers – mentoring, helping to grow and set the goals, providing feedback;
    -close cooperation with CTO, Engineering Managers, Lead Front End Engineers.
  •  Take part in pre-sale activities (after some time).
