Junior AQA Java Engineer

Fintech project, the purpose of which is to create and maintain banking platforms. Users are bank employees, which is about 10,000. The platform is used to serve clients of the bank who would like to invest their money in one of Canada’s largest banks.

Requirements:
  • 1+ year in automation testing experience using the programming language Java;
  • Manual testing experience;
  • Experience in TestNG;
  • Ability to compose API test cases;
  • Good knowledge of Maven;
  • Understanding of Postman;
  • Clear communication.
Responsibilities:
  • Testing for the product agile team (both manual and automation, 30/70);
  • Design and develop test plans for the application;
  • Review test cases developed by the team members to provide efficient & optimal test coverage;
  • Design and develop test automation frameworks & tools;
  • Contributing to the Scrum team creation automation scripts and manually testing the functionality;
  • Engage test automation in Continuous Integration for a continuous quality delivery;
  • Involve in code review to ensure high-quality test automation is developed & maintained;
  • Provide QA sign-off for the application to be released.
