Junior Java Engineer

We are looking for Junior Java Engineer to join one of our development teams.

Location: Kyiv (combination of work from home and office work)

We are working on E-commerce system for retail business (dropshipping) for the customer from USA, Florida. Products are selling on the next platforms: Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, Bigcommerce, Wish, Almost for each platforms our system has several accounts on which products are selling. The main goals of each of these integration are to upload and update products, download orders, upload tracking numbers, manage returns.

On the project currently is a lot of challenging tasks on improving the existing code base and adding new functionality.

Team: 6 Back End Engineers, PM, BA, DevOps.

Tech Stack of the project: Java 8/11, MS SQL, Spring, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Angular 2

Requirements:
  •  6+ months of experience in software development;
  • Strong knowledge of SQL;
  • Experience with Java 8+;
  • Experience with Spring framework;
  • Solid knowledge of Hibernate;
  • Experience in development of server-side components;
  • Knowledge and experience using development tools (Git, Jenkins and others);
  • At least Intermediate level of English.
Responsibilities:
  • Building reusable code and libraries;
  • Research and evaluation of new technical solutions;
  • Communication with team members and a client.
  • Stay on the leading edge of industry trends and technologies.
