Junior/Middle UI/UX Designer

Sombra is an ambitious and fast-growing Ukrainian tech company that is engaged in custom software development. Our target markets are the USA, Canada, and the UK. The company employs more than 250 motivated professionals. We offer our customers building dedicated teams of software engineers in Ukraine.

We are looking for professionals who will work closely with creative and technical teams to create considered and elegant design systems supporting a range of Sombra platforms.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience;
  • An excellent online portfolio showcasing UX, UI, and visual design work for mobile and web;
  • A command of visual and communication design principles;
  • Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches and wireframes;
  • Highly skilled in Figma/Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, and other design tools;
  • Upper-Intermediate spoken and written English.
  • The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of branding principles, style guides, and product design; an elegant design aesthetic, with exceptional attention to detail;
Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences based on product requirements. Deliverables include design mockups, prototyping, production of visual assets, and documentation required for proper implementation.
  • Work closely with team leads to understand design direction and priorities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure designs work within given limitations, and files are prepared with all vital information to support the design intent.
