Senior Software Engineer (React js.)

A Toronto-based company that delivers dynamic and creative marketing solutions to clients in the global marketplace, offers its solutions to the following business areas: Financial services, Retail, Government, Hospitality, Energy, Healthcare & wellness, and many others.
The project’s primary goal is to simplify and accelerate tax-related processes, reducing the time and effort required for preparing and submitting reports. This solution will improve data accuracy, minimize the risk of human errors, and provide users with a convenient and intuitive tool for handling tax documentation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a front-end developer.
  • Extensive experience with React.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Expert-level knowledge of CSS and preprocessors (SASS, LESS), focusing on creating responsive and accessible designs.
  • Experience starting a project from scratch.
  • Proven track record of leading technical projects and mentoring junior developers.
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
  • Experience working with a fully remote team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the web app, working closely with Design, Product, and Backend colleagues.
  • Architect and implement efficient, scalable, and reusable front-end components and systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge front-end technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, communicating complex technical concepts
    clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
