Junior Designer (UI/UX)

We're looking for a full-time remote role for a Junior Designer (UI/UX). The Junior Designer will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs, developing user interfaces, designing mockups, and ensuring seamless user experiences. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine design concepts, support front-end development efforts, and maintain consistency across projects to meet high-quality standards.

What you’ll do

  • Own the end-to-end design process: user flows, wireframes, UI mockups, interactive prototypes, and final design specs

  • Collaborate with PMs and Engineers to define requirements, validate assumptions, and align on feasibility

  • Work alongside a Senior Designer to transform high-level ideas into polished, production-ready designs

  • Conduct user research and usability testing when applicable

  • Communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Document design specifications to ensure smooth developer handoff and implementation quality

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, ideally on SaaS products

  • Strong proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping, design systems)

  • A solid portfolio with at least 2 high-quality projects (desktop & mobile), showing your design process and decision-making

  • Experience translating complex business or technical requirements into scalable design solutions

  • Strong collaboration skills with Product and Engineering teams

  • Experience working within existing design systems and visual languages

  • Familiarity with data-driven UX (analytics, usability validation, A/B testing)

  • Upper-Intermediate+ English for daily collaboration

Nice to have

  • Experience with Figma Make, AI prototyping tools, or Maze

  • Familiarity with Notion, Miro, FigJam

  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system

  • Ability to extract insights from analytics and user feedback (e.g., Pendo)

  • Exposure to client-facing or consulting environments
