This is a fintech project focused on developing and maintaining banking platforms for one of Canada’s largest financial institutions. The end users include approximately 10,000 internal bank employees. These platforms support both client-facing services for individuals looking to invest their funds, as well as internal operations.
Our team is currently involved in several projects, with priorities shifting from sprint to sprint. In light of upcoming new initiatives, the team is actively expanding to meet growing demands.
Requirements:
- 1.5+ years of commercial experience as a Frontend Engineer
- Angular 14+
- TypeScript and JavaScript
- HTML5, CSS, SCSS
- RxJS
- NgRx (state management)
- Bootstrap 4
- Git (version control)
- Understanding of OOP principles
- Understanding of REST API and HTTP
- English B1+ (strong conversational and written skills)
Would be a plus:
- Unit testing (Jest or similar)
- Highcharts or other charting libraries
- Familiarity with reactive programming practices
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
- Develop new user-facing features
- Debug and fix issues in existing functionality
- Participate in functional discussions with the team and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
