Junior Software Engineer (Java-focused Full-Stack)

We are looking for a strong junior full-stack developer who can constantly adapt to their surroundings, being customer-focused. This role requires someone who is ambitious and loves to achieve demanding goals and targets.

Requirements:

  • Experience developing in a commercial environment
  • Experience with at least one JVM programming language (Java, Kotlin)
  • Familiar with SQL databases, either PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Awareness of Vue.js and related libraries (Vuex, Vue Router).
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills;
  • Intermediate high – Upper – Intermediate  level of English.

Nice to have: 

  • Kotlin experience
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking
  • Knowledge about Amazon Web Services
  • Experience in front-end development.
  • Experience with payment providers would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic, building reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Contribute to a stable, scalable and performant code base to provide our users with a great experience.
  • Being part of our development road map team, developing new modules for our software
  • Develop and maintain user interfaces using Vue.js.
  • Implementation of new features;
  • Update/maintenance of existing code base;
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across various browsers and platforms;
  • Daily professional communication with customers;
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
