Junior L1/L2 Eagle Platform Support Engineer

We are looking for motivated and customer-focused L1-L2 Eagle Support Engineers to join our Eagle Platform Operations team.
In this role, you will support the Eagle Investment Systems platform, ensuring stability, timely issue resolution, and high-quality service delivery to business partners across Trading, Portfolio Management, Operations, Risk, and Finance.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with application SMEs, infrastructure teams, and business users to diagnose issues, perform root cause analysis, and maintain the overall health of the Eagle ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Eagle jobs, workflows, file transfers, and data loads in real time.
- Log, triage, and route incidents through the standard ticketing system.
- Perform initial troubleshooting for job failures, missing files, or data discrepancies.
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) to restore services quickly.
- Communicate incident status and updates to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 or Platform Engineering when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in production support, application support, or operations engineering.
- Experience with Eagle Investment Systems (STAR, PACE, DataMart, MC, Scheduler) strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of investment operations (security masters, pricing, positions, trades, corporate actions, NAV reconciliation).
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for data investigation and validation.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and job schedulers (Autosys, Control-M).
- Familiarity with SFTP/FTS workflows, batch processing, and API integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
- Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics) .
- Python experience for automation and operational tooling .
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts (incident, problem, change management) .
