Middle Automation QA Engineer

Requirements:
- Experienced JavaScript/Typescript testing engineer (from 2,5-3 years of experience).
- Experience testing client-side/single-page web apps.
- Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines/version control.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- English level from Upper-intermediate.
Nice to have:
- knowledge of/willingness to learn Ruby/Rails;
- experience with Playwright (will accept other testing frameworks, but our e2e tests are written with Playwright).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering to understand product requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Identify, prioritize, and track software defects using issue-tracking systems, and work closely with engineering to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously improve our automation testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct root cause analysis of testing failures and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in automation testing and quality assurance.
