Salesforce Competence Lead

The Salesforce Competence Lead will lead our Salesforce stream within the company, sell Salesforce services to our clients, and work alongside other Competence Leads and the CTO. Additionally, this person will be involved as a Salesforce engineer in our core client’s team, but also in various projects for kickoffs, discovery phases, and consulting.

The working hours are until around 10:00 PM (Kyiv time).

Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience in a Salesforce engineering role.
  • 2+ years experience in a Salesforce Lead engineer role.
  • Pre-sales / discovery/project kickoff experience.
  • Experience selecting the best talent through technical interviewing.
  • Experience growing the talent by assessing, setting goals, and mentoring.
  • Experience participating in Salesforce talks.
  • Experience building teams.
  • Upper-intermediate high level of English.

Experience with the Financial Services & Banking domain will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in the project on a part-time (80%) basis.
  • Short-term involvement on the projects with the role of Lead Salesforce engineer for project kickoff, consulting, and delivering solutions for technical challenges.
  • Working with the Resource Manager to provide the best allocation of Salesforce engineers across projects.
  • Involvement in Presales calls with potential clients and representing the Salesforce service of the company.
  • Involvement in Discovery phases and assessments for new and existing projects
  • Perform tech interviews for new Salesforce engineers and teams, contribute to improving corporate tech interview standards, and focus on continuous professional development of the Salesforce stream.
  • Assessing promotions of Salesforce engineers and improving the promotion process
  • Growing the Salesforce community in the company by organizing regular syncs and events and sharing Sombra culture & values across SF stream
  • Effective cooperation with CTO and other Competence Leads (Head of Engineering, QA/AQA, UX, Data&AI).
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Acquiring new skills in Salesforce clouds to be able to represent the Salesforce service of Sombra on pre-sales and marketing in general, not tied to one cloud
