Senior Data Engineer
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain automated data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources (SFTP, APIs, enterprise systems) into an Azure Lakehouse environment using ADF/Fabric, Databricks, and Delta Lake

Design and implement Bronze/Silver/Gold (Medallion) architectures

Develop Power BI-ready star schemas with incremental processing and SCD Type 2 history tracking

Harmonize and standardize KPIs across disparate ERP systems (e.g., routing efficiency, on-time %, cost per stop, utilization)

Ensure strong data quality, governance, and schema management

Optimize performance using advanced SQL techniques
-
Implement version control and CI/CD best practices for data workflows

Partner with business and operations stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models
Requirements
-
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, delivering production-grade Azure solutions

Strong hands-on experience with:

Azure Databricks (PySpark)
-
Delta Lake & Medallion architecture
-
ADF / Fabric Pipelines / Synapse
-
-
Advanced SQL (window functions, performance tuning)
-
Experience with dbt (models, testing, exposures)
-
Experience building BI-ready datasets for Power BI (star schemas, semantic layers)

Experience with Git, PR workflows, CI/CD, and environment promotion
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work with operational stakeholders
