Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js, React.js)

They work with enterprise-level businesses and organizations to ensure their sites and mobile apps are accessible. Installed in over 250,000 browsers and with over 4,000 audit projects completed, our client is the industry standard.

Our client is looking for energetic developers to join the team to help accelerate the innovative developments of the axe platform. We are looking for people with a demonstrated ability to learn and apply technologies, who are able to work with team members to propose and implement changes to complex Web applications and/or browser extensions.
The team is fully remote and in a fast-paced, dynamic incubator mode, and the successful candidates must show the ability to thrive in such an environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with TypeScript, CSS, React.js, Node.js, Koa/Express
  • Use of REST APIs, RESTful API design, and implementation
  • Database generalist skills (SQL)
  • Basic secure Web programming knowledge and experience
  • Common Web application architectures such as n-tier, micro-services
  • Source code management, pull request reviews, and related technologies and methodologies
Bonus Skills and Experience:
  • Vue/Angular
  • Accessibility (we will teach you this)
  • Web Extensions
  • Postgres
  • AWS
  • Enterprise SaaS product development
  • OAuth, SAML, SCIM, Keycloak, Redhat SSO, Okta

Responsibilities:

Be a core team player by contributing to the improvement of product development
infrastructure
  • Design, develop & maintain products and services such as the billing, reporting
    and collaboration functionality.
  • Assist in the review of pull requests including security reviews
  • Write new features, unit, and integration tests, data migrations and related
  • Fix issues in existing code, work with support to reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Write and review technical proposals
  • Create and edit sprint tickets
