Senior Full-Stack (.NET/JavaScript) Engineer

Our client is the leading online platform and advisory service providing insight-driven and personalized solutions to family caregivers needing help with their senior loved ones.

Basically .Net (from Framework to modern .Net core), a good bit of web experience (not be afraid of occasional Bootstrap/JS/CSS coding as part of .net app build), MS SQL, and some cloud familiarity.

We are a small team keeping a decent amount of software operational, some public-facing, some internal, fixing existing apps, creating new ones, refactoring previous shortcuts, etc.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Expert with .NET from Framework to Core.
  • Developing modern websites & services using .NET technologies Development experience in C# and JavaScript (web applications).
  • You are curious and always keep learning.
  • You have a strong passion for new technologies and driving innovation.
  • Delivery of high-quality & production-ready code is a high priority for you.
  • You consider yourself as someone who is ready to look for innovative solutions.
  • Learning technologies and expanding your skillset are always on your mind.
  • Experienced in implementing design patterns.
  • The Definition of Done for you doesn’t end at completed PR.
  • Strong experience in the design and development of API including REST and GraphQL.
  • Strong command of MS SQL from query optimization to stored procedures.
  • Proficiency in English (at least B2 level). 

    Very Nice to Have / Cloud: Strong understanding of AWS Services, Docker Containers, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on software developer with deep technical expertise in both client-side and server-side technologies from C# to JavaScript.
  • Partner with your peers in Product, Design, Scrum Masters, and technology to innovate on current and future product offerings.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Participating in meaningful and thorough code reviews.
  • Ensures the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  • Collaborate with the team to ship new features rapidly.
  • Optimize websites for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to a team of onsite or off-shore developers.
  • Provide guidance on technologies, architectural patterns, and frameworks.
  • Ensure smooth operation of production systems hosted in AWS or other Cloud.
