Senior Full-Stack Engineer

They work with enterprise-level businesses and organizations to ensure their sites and mobile apps are accessible. Installed in over 250,000 browsers and with over 4,000 audit projects completed, our client is the industry standard.

Our client is looking for energetic developers to join the team to help accelerate the innovative developments of the platform. We are looking for people with a demonstrated ability to learn and apply technologies, who can work with team members to propose and implement changes to complex Web applications and/or browser extensions.
The team is fully remote and in a fast-paced, dynamic incubator mode, and the successful candidates must show the ability to thrive in such an environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in software development.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of development experience with, CSS, KOA/Express, REST and RESTful APIs, Microservices, and SQL Management.
  • Extensive experience of at least 4 years working with NodeJS 30% and ReactJS 70%
  • Previous experience working remotely.
  • Experience working in a product team
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Agile processes (scrum/kanban)
  • Accessibility (we will teach you this)
  • TypeScript
  • Browser Extensions
  • Postgres
  • AWS
  • Enterprise SaaS product development
  • OAuth, SAML, SCIM, Keycloak, Redhat SSO, Okta

Responsibilities:

  • Be a core team player by contributing to the improvement of product development
    infrastructure
  • Design, develop & maintain axe-related products and services such as billing, reporting
    and collaboration functionality.
  • Assist in the review of pull requests including security reviews
  • Write new features, unit, and integration tests, data migrations, and related
  • Fix issues in existing code, work with support to reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Write and review technical proposals
  • Create and edit sprint tickets
