Senior L3/L4 Eagle Platform Support Engineer

Our customer is expanding the team across multiple seniority levels — L3, L4 — to strengthen deep technical support, platform engineering capabilities, and long-term architectural strategy. The Eagle Platform Engineering & Support group is responsible for the stability, scalability, and modernization of the enterprise’s Eagle Investment Systems ecosystem, including STAR, PACE, DataMart, and related data flows supporting Trading, Portfolio Management, Operations, Risk, and Finance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: ~4–7 years total experience, including 2+ years with Eagle
  • Focus: Advanced Triage & Deep Technical Support
  • Strong domain knowledge of investment data: securities, pricing, corporate actions, positions, trades, performance, accounting 
  • Advanced SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and strong Unix/Linux skills 
  • Experience with job schedulers (Autosys, Control-M), file transfer workflows (SFTP/FTS), and ETL/data pipelines 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively during high-pressure incidents 
  • At least Upper Intermediate English level

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics) 
  • Python experience for automation and operational tooling 
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts (incident, problem, change management) 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead resolution of high-severity incidents and complex data or processing issues
  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend permanent remediation
  • Tune SQL queries and troubleshoot STAR/PACE/DataMart interactions
  • Support batch workflows (Autosys / Control-M) and real-time feeds
  • Mentor L1/L2 staff and contribute expert-level knowledge documentation
