Senior Platform Engineer ( Salesforce Sales Cloud)
- 4–6 years hands-on administering Salesforce with ≥1 million records and hundreds of active users, including permission set & role hierarchy design, release management, and org health monitoring.
- A deep understanding of the Salesforce CRM platform, including its architecture, limits, and data security models.
- Candidate should be very proficient in using declarative tools as well as some custom code when necessary. 70% declarative 30% custom code will be the breakdown of work.Certifications:
* Platform App Builder
* Advance Administrator
* Sales Cloud Consultant - Proven understanding of third-party integrations (e.g., Marketing Cloud, middleware, data warehouses) and some ability to troubleshoot sync issues in those integrations.Certifications:
* Platform Developer 1
* Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist - Expert use of flows, formula fields, validation rules, assignment rules, and a strong grasp of Sales Cloud features like Campaigns, CPQ, Orders, Lead Conversion, etc.
- Must be able to meet complex requirements and develop solutions with the skills above without over-engineering.
- Data Management and SOQL: Since Salesforce is data-centric, needs to be proficient in SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) to query the database efficiently.
- Comfortable importing, transforming, and deduping large data sets.
- Understands how to keep data models performant and compliant with large volume best practices.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation.
- DevOps and Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with DevOps practices like continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and Agile methodologies is becoming increasingly important for efficient development and faster releases.
- Lead Management
Experience supporting large and high-pressure sales organizations, including multi-channel campaign management and lead routing. - Einstein AI Tools: Production-grade experience with Salesforce products, including Agentforce, enhanced chatbots, etc.Agentforce Specific Skills:
* Prompt Engineering: Skills in crafting precise and structured prompts to guide AI agents in generating accurate responses.
* RAG Implementation: The ability to implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to integrate enterprise data into Large Language Models (LLMs) for relevant context.
* Agent Studio Proficiency: Familiarity with Agentforce studios like Agent Builder, Prompt Builder, Agent Actions, and Testing Center to facilitate agent development and ensure quality. - Documentation: Creates concise technical documentation, change sets, architecture, and data flows as well as release notes, and in-app guidance.

- Lead and support enterprise-level Sales Cloud implementations.
- Collaborate with SalesOps to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Design and build automation using Flow Builder, SOQL, and Apex.
- Manage and optimize lead workflows, data cleansing, and campaigns.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (PoS, Data Lakes, APIs, third-party tools).
- Utilize DevOps tooling (Gearset, Copado, DevOps Center, GitHub) and manage version control.
- Leverage Agentforce and the Einstein product suite for advanced sales enablement.
- Monitor system performance, manage data backups, and ensure platform reliability.
- Support multi-channel operations (web, email, inbound).
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation: technical specs, change sets, release notes, in-app guidance, stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business teams using Agile and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines).
