Senior Project Manager

The Project Manager should drive changes that will make our customers happy by providing forecasted results and exceeding customers’ expectations through a culture of proactivity. Accountable for successful project delivery and making sure that all of the stakeholders are happy with the outcome.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management positions; 
  • Knowledge in Project Management areas and methods;
  • Experience with the clients from the United States
  • Experience in managing international teams
  • Proven track record for successfully delivering medium-sized projects in the IT field; 
  • Understanding of software development life cycle; 
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum process; 
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; 
  • Desire and ability to learn and develop; 
  • At least Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

  • Customers(Stakeholders) Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients;
  • Provide regular status updates;
  • Address concerns, manage expectations, gather regular feedback;
  • Involve new stakeholders;
  • Set up communications on the project.
  • Scope Management:
  • Monitor the scope of work, project progress and schedule;
  • Manage and delegate tasks effectively to the development team;
  • Balance work and responsibilities on the project.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and analyze risks and prepare actions to mitigate them ;
  • Identify and mitigate roadblocks, implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Process Management:
  • Set clear and efficient processes on the project, document them;
  • Improve processes on customer`s side, consult customer.
  • People Management:
  • Conduct 1on1 meetings, performance reviews and salary reviews;
  • Provide regular feedback;
  • Manage vacations, day-offs, sick leaves
  • Newcomers onboarding;
  • Manage rotation requests;
  • Dismissals.
  • Team Management:
  • Monitor team health;
  • Schedule project ceremonies and events, team events;
  • Open vacancy and gather requirements, orrganize the process of interviews with customers, conduct interviews.
  • Budget Management:
  • Send/check invoices, monitor payment due dates;
  • Forecast projects revenue and costs (monthly, quarterly, yearly);
  • Schedule salary increases, bonuses, teambuildings, trainings.
  • Account Management:
  • Regularly increase rates, negotiate on discounts, orgainize upsales;
  • Comply with account strategy, design and implement steps for this strategy;
  • Regularly update information about account, provide weekly status reports;
  • Expand to new units/departments, present new services to customer.
  • Documentation Management:
  • Prepare and keep updated must documentation (Project Charter, Stakeholders Matrix, Risk Management Plan, Communication Plan);
  • Prepare additional documentation if needed (Reaction Plan, BCP, RACI Chart, PMP, Gantt Chart, Process diagrams, etc.);
  • Keep updated contracts and their historical data (all signed *PDFs of SOWs, MSAs, Ammendments, etc..);
  • Provide assistance to legal deparment with creation/update of contracts and amendments.
