We’re seeking a skilled Backend Engineer (Go/Golang) to design, build, and optimize scalable backend services and APIs in a cloud-native environment. The client is a U.S.-based technology company focused on building reliable, high-performance platforms in the live events industry. The selected engineer will join a collaborative team environment, working closely with senior developers and product managers to deliver impactful backend solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development.

  • Proven experience with Go (Golang) in production environments.

  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and system scalability.

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in distributed teams with clear communication and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Go.

  • Collaborate with other engineers to enhance performance, stability, and scalability of existing systems.

  • Build APIs and integrations to support new and ongoing initiatives.

  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation.

  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to automation and workflow optimization efforts.
