Strong Junior/Middle Software Engineer (Angular)

Our client in the banking sector is launching a strategic initiative to modernize several public-facing websites. The goal is to ensure full compliance with government-mandated accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2), reduce vendor dependency and build a centralized, scalable and extensible front-end architecture. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape this transformation from the inside — working on modernizing core systems and contributing to a front-end ecosystem that will be used across multiple projects and products.

Requirements: 

  • 1.5 + years of commercial experience as a Frontend Engineer
  • Angular 14+
  • TypeScript and JavaScript
  • HTML5, CSS, SCSS
  • RxJS
  • NgRx (state management)
  • Bootstrap 4
  • Git (version control)
  • Understanding of OOP principles
  • Understanding of REST API and HTTP
  • Familiarity with any CMS system
  • Familiarity with low-code / no-code back-end solutions (e.g., Xano, Supabase, Airtable, Zapier, Make) or a foundational understanding of back-end architecture and concepts.
  • English – Upper-Intermediate 

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with web accessibility evaluation tools – axe, wave, lighthouse, etc.
  • Basic understanding of data modelling and API integrations

Responsibilities: 

  •  Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
  • Implement accessibility features in all components to meet WCAG 2.2 AA (or AAA) standards
  • Document the accessibility features of each component
  • Create new components based on design and business requirements
  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Debug and fix issues in existing functionality
  • Participate in functional discussions with the team and stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
