Senior Software Engineer (Python/React)

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a U.S.-based consulting project in the energy and infrastructure domain. You will work on data-intensive applications used for monitoring, analysis, and optimization of large-scale power systems.
This role requires strong experience with both backend and frontend development, as well as hands-on knowledge of cloud architecture and modern search technologies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Strong knowledge of Python and Java in production environments.
- Proven experience with React and TypeScript.
- Hands-on with AWS cloud services and serverless architecture.
- Solid understanding of OpenSearch or Apache Solr.
- Good communication skills and English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and working in Agile teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain full-stack features for cloud-based analytics tools.
- Develop and optimize backend services using Python and Java.
- Create modern, responsive UI components with React and TypeScript.
- Integrate OpenSearch or Solr for large-scale data indexing and querying.
- Collaborate with a distributed team in an Agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to system scalability, performance, and security improvements.
