Sombra is a global software development and consulting company with over 350 experts across Europe, Latin America, Canada, and the US. This is a full-time remote role for a Senior FullStack Developer specializing mainly in TypeScript and Node.js. You’ll work on developer-centric accessibility tools that help other engineers test and fix accessibility issues before merging their code.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain TypeScript libraries, APIs, and Node.js tools
- Develop integrations like VSCode extensions, CLI utilities, and SDKs
- Collaborate on innovative solutions that make web accessibility seamless for developers
- Review pull requests, write technical proposals, and contribute to secure, high-quality code.
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years of experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- 1+ year with React.js
- Experience with web accessibility, WCAG, and ARIA standards
- Strong understanding of developer tools (SDKs, CLIs, extensions, libraries)
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with and learn other languages (such as Java, Ruby, Python, or C#)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a product team
