Junior Software Engineer

Requirements

• Strong expertise in JS, CSS, HTML;
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms;
• Awareness in unit testing (Jest);
• Proficient with Highcharts;
• Solid grasp of reactive programming practices;
• Good knowledge of Vue or Angular, with a desire to quickly master the other framework;
• Eager to work with dotCMS and Velocity Template Language;
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, and HTTP;
• Understanding of OOP;
• Experience working in Agile environments;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Collaborative team player with a fast learning curve;
• Upper-intermediate level of English.
• Would be a plus: Familiarity with templating languages such as Velocity.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with best practices;
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects;
• Participate in functional discussions with the team and business stakeholders;
• Design and develop new user-facing features and improve existing ones;
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions;
• Continuously learn and share knowledge within the team;
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver them with accountability.
