Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are looking for an experienced finance leader with a proven track record in building finance functions, deep expertise in IFRS/US GAAP, taxation across multiple jurisdictions, and experience with consolidated reporting for multi-entity structures. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments are essential for this role.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in senior finance roles, preferably within IT companies (100+ employees)
- Upper-intermediate English level.
- Proven track record of building a finance function from scratch or transforming existing processes.
- Deep knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) and taxation principles in Ukraine and the EU.
- Experience in preparing consolidated reporting across multi-country / multi-entity structures.
- Strong understanding of global financial processes, tax, accounting, and compliance.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and other business processes.
- Cost structure optimisation, cash-flow management.
- Proficient in ERP, accounting software, and business intelligence tools.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to independently carry out rigorous problem-solving.
- Leadership and collaboration skills: building and developing finance teams, mentoring.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to management.
- Proactivity and ability to work effectively in fast-changing environments (resilience, agile mindset).

Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Provide insights into financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare information for strategic decision-making.
- Develop the financial function across existing markets (US, Canada, UK) and new markets (Saudi Arabia, India, etc.).
2. Accounting
- Developing an Accounting Policy.
- Manage tax strategy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess financial risks (credit, FX, liquidity) and develop mitigation strategies.
- Initiating and completing finance audits.
- Manage banking relationships, financing, and credit facilities.
- Opening of new companies.
- Approved finance reports.
3. Finance planning and analysis
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Build financial models to support growth, investments, and business cases.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and advise on corrective actions.
- Cash flow forecasting.
- Work with accounts receivable.
4. Legal
- Set up a legal strategy.
- Build a legal process.
- Register of trademarks.
- Manage relationships with external law firms and legal advisors.
5. Team Leadership
- Build and lead finance, accounting, and legal teams in line with business objectives (15 subordinates in total),
- Take OTO with team members.
- Write review feedback and provide salary reviews.
- Set up individual KPI’s.
- Mentor and develop employees within the finance department.
