Content Marketing Manager/Lead

We seek a talented Marketing Content Manager to join our Sombra marketing team and play a critical role in building a successful inbound growth engine for the company. This role combines creativity, storytelling, and data-driven content creation to enhance our website’s performance and attract our target audience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in the IT B2B space on the US, and Canadian markets.
  • Copywriting background would be a huge benefit.
  • Proven ability to create and manage advanced content strategies and roadmaps.
  • Hands-on experience in building the inbound lead generation flow.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong editorial judgment with attention to detail and quality.
  • Experience mentoring team members and improving their work.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO and marketing analytics tools.
  • Ability to craft content that resonates with C-level business decision-makers and more technical stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in creating SEO-driven content that ranks and converts.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Website content management.
  • Familiarity with website development principles and how content contributes to user experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify trends and optimize content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • English proficiency level – B2/C1 or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overall content marketing strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Lead the development of content roadmaps and campaigns that support demand generation and brand building.
  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for blogs, case studies, white papers, eBooks, lead magnets, and web pages.
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to create content that drives organic traffic and ranks on targeted keywords.
  • Own the content strategy for the website, ensuring alignment with business goals and target audiences.
  • Work closely with the web development team to optimize site structure, content flow, and user experience.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and audience behavior to produce relevant and impactful content.
  • Create compelling storylines and thought leadership pieces to enhance brand positioning and customer engagement, positioning the company as a market leader.
  • Monitor content performance using tools like Google Analytics and refine strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft consistent messaging across channels.
  • Oversee quality assurance and ensure all content aligns with brand voice and standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior content creators, providing constructive feedback.
