We are looking for a Junior Manual QA to join Sombra and contribute to our long-term project in the logistics industry for a U.S.-based customer.
Our customer is a Leading Logistics Provider for wine companies in the USA.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
Solid background in manual testing, including functional, smoke, and regression testing.
Familiarity with a range of testing methodologies and best practices.
Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Practical experience with tools like Jira, browser DevTools, Git, and test management systems.
Confidence in testing APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
Understanding of relational databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
Ability to create and maintain clear, concise test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports, etc.).
Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (both written and spoken).
Nice to have:
-Basic understanding of automation concepts.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive manual testing of product features, focusing on functionality, UX, edge cases, and business logic.
Validate new functionality and ensure stability of existing features through regression and exploratory testing.
Analyze complex requirements and identify potential inconsistencies, ambiguities, or edge cases.
Report and track bugs with clear documentation, including steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and environment details.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analyst, designer, and product owner and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and high-quality releases.
Participate in test planning, design syncs, refinement sessions, and defining test strategy for new features.
Investigate and perform root cause analysis of issues to support effective troubleshooting and resolution.
Keep QA documentation structured and up-to-date: test cases, checklists, bug reports, release notes.
Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and quality standards across the product.
