Middle AQA Engineer (Java+ JS)

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled QA Automation Engineer who is enthusiastic about their profession and eager to collaborate with a team of like-minded individuals. Required Skills:

  • Solid understanding of QA practices, including automation and manual testing.
  • Experience with Java for automating API tests and front-end testing.
  • Strong backend testing knowledge, including API automation (e.g., Rest-Assured) and Core Java expertise.
  • Basic SQL experience and log reading skills.
  • Proficiency in Node.js frameworks like WebDriverIO, Playwright, Protractor, or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize test scenarios, create execution plans, and build test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with peer code and test case reviews.
  • Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, JIRA).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and self-development skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields.
  • 3–6 years of experience in QA/testing roles and as a Quality Engineer (automation).
  • Experience in the financial domain or applications is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with offshore/nearshore/onshore models is a plus.
  • Preferred experience with Agile methodology.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Seismic and Coric.
  • Experience with JUnit, Spring Boot, and Mockito for integration testing.
  • Mobile automation testing for Android, iOS, or cross-platform tools.
  • Performance testing experience with JMeter.
  • Salesforce-related experience

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement tests: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Develop automated test scripts:
  • Utilize testing software programs to perform automated tests.
  • Write scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests using various tools.
  • Identify and document issues: Analyze and record problems during testing, such as defects, bugs, errors, and inconsistencies.
  • Review system requirements: Ensure the software meets quality standards and track quality assurance metrics.
  • Collaborate with development teams: Understand system architecture and functionality, and resolve issues.
  • Conduct post-release testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Monitor debugging process results: Conduct stress testing, performance testing, and scalability tests.
  • Stay updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
