Middle Data Analyst (Power BI | SQL | Operational Analytics)
Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards for routing, transportation, inbound scheduling, and operational KPIs

Translate business requirements into clear KPI definitions, DAX calculations, and documented metric logic

Analyze data from multiple operational systems to identify trends, performance issues, and improvement opportunities

Validate datasets delivered by Data Engineering (completeness, accuracy, consistency)

Perform ad-hoc analysis to support operational and leadership decision-making

Conduct data quality checks and flag inconsistencies across systems or ERPs
-
Deliver concise insights, reports, and actionable recommendations

Collaborate with BI and Data Engineering teams to refine data models and improve usability
Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role

Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, performance tuning)

Solid SQL skills for data exploration, validation, and troubleshooting

Experience working with operational, logistics, or time-series datasets

Strong analytical thinking and high attention to detail

Ability to document business rules and metric definitions clearly

Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Proficiency in Excel for quick validations and calculations
