Middle Language Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Language Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging group lessons, developing new online materials, and supporting various departments with language-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Be proficient in English (C1+ level);
  • Have a strong teaching background, with at least 3 years of experience working with adult learners (experience in teaching Business English, especially in the IT sector, will be a strong advantage);
  • Hold a Specialist or Master’s degree in Teaching, Linguistics, Translation, or Interpretation (certifications are a plus);
  • Be able to customise lessons to meet particular students’ needs (ESP approach)
  • Knowledge of IT English specifications is an advantage.
  • Have good communication skills and flexibility to work with busy people who have various levels of English proficiency and little free time;
  • Familiarity with assessment standards and procedures for English language proficiency.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms (LMS) and online teaching (Zoom, Teams, e-platforms).
  • Be able to drive learners to desired outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver online general group lessons to small groups of 4-8 participants and personal classes, ensuring an interactive and effective learning environment.
  • Assist with translation and proofreading tasks for other departments occasionally.
  • Develop and create new online instructional materials for classes to enhance the learning experience.
  • Conduct English-level assessments for employees, adhering to the established assessment procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Provide occasional support to recruiters by assessing the interviewees’ English proficiency during the hiring process.

    Expected Workload (Full-Time Role):
    Teaching (12–20 hours/week):

  • Delivery of both group and one-on-one lessons, tailored to learners’ levels and needs. This includes Business English and IT-specific topics where relevant.

    Administrative Responsibilities (8–15 hours/week):

  • Participation in internal meetings, conducting level evaluations, maintaining student records and progress updates, handling email communication, and supporting internal workflows.

    Preparation & Internal Projects (Remaining hours):

  • Time allocated for lesson planning, materials creation, methodical work, contribution to team initiatives, and professional development activities.
