Senior FrontEnd Engineer (React JS)

The platform helps US fans discover and purchase last-minute tickets to live events, providing an extraordinary experience. With iOS, Android, mobile web, and desktop platforms supporting more than 100,000 events across the US and Canada, the event ticket experience is reimagining in a mobile-first world.

As a Senior Web Developer, you will lead the Client Team in building and enhancing the Platform web experience for millions of customers. You will collaborate closely with the Product, Backend, and Design teams to architect, plan, and
implement sophisticated user experiences for our web app across desktop and mobile browsers.
Leveraging your expertise in modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, Redux, and SASS, you’ll ensure our UX is seamless, performant, and
responsive across all screen sizes and platforms.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional experience as a web developer, with at least 5 years
    focusing on front-end engineering.
  • Extensive experience with React, Redux, and state management patterns in
    large-scale applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including a deep understanding of
    ES6+ features and modern JS ecosystem.
  • Expert-level knowledge of CSS and preprocessors (SASS, LESS), with a focus
    on creating responsive and accessible designs.
  • Proven track record of leading technical projects and mentoring junior developers.
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best
    practices.
  • Experience with server-side rendering, progressive web apps, and modern build
    tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
  • Experience working with a fully remote team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical
    experience.
  • English- Upper-Intermediate.

    Bonus points:

  • Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration systems.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience building microservices and event-driven systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the company’s web app, working
    closely with the Design, Product, and Backend teams.
  • Architect and implement efficient, scalable, and reusable front-end components
    and systems.
  • Design and execute advanced SEO strategies to drive user acquisition and
    improve web visibility.
  • Spearhead code reviews, lead team ceremonies, and drive product discussions
    with a focus on technical excellence.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous
    learning and improvement.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge front-end technologies and best
    practices.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, communicating complex technical concepts
    clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
